सम्मत्तं चारित्तं णाणं तेसिं हि कारणं भणियं।
तीणि वि एदाणि हवंति आसवाणं णिरोहयरा॥
sammattaṁ cārittaṁ ṇāṇaṁ tesiṁ hi kāraṇaṁ bhaṇiyaṁ
tīṇi vi edāṇi havaṁti āsavāṇaṁ ṇirohayarā

सम्यक्त्व, चारित्र, और ज्ञान — इन तीनों को (आस्रव-निरोध का) कारण कहा गया है। ये तीनों ही आस्रव को रोकने वाले हैं।
Right faith (samyaktva), right conduct (cāritra), and right knowledge (jnāna) — these three are said to be the cause (of saṁvara). All three together are the stoppers of āsrava.
