ववहारेणुवदिस्सइ णाणिस्स चरित्त दंसणं णाणं।
ण वि णाणं ण चरित्तं ण दंसणं जाणगो सुद्धो॥७॥
vavahāreṇu-vadissai ṇāṇissa caritta daṁsaṇaṁ ṇāṇaṁ
ṇa vi ṇāṇaṁ ṇa carittaṁ ṇa daṁsaṇaṁ jāṇago suddho

व्यवहार-दृष्टि से ज्ञानी (आत्मा) में चारित्र, दर्शन, और ज्ञान बताए जाते हैं। निश्चय-दृष्टि से न ज्ञान है, न चारित्र, न दर्शन — केवल एक शुद्ध जानने वाला (ज्ञायक) है।
From the conventional (*vyavahāra*) standpoint, the knowing soul is described as having faith, knowledge, and conduct. From the absolute (*niścaya*) standpoint, there is no knowledge, no conduct, no faith — only the pure Knower itself.
