अल्प-श्रुतं श्रुतवतां परिहास-धाम
त्वद्-भक्तिरेव मुखरीकुरुते बलान्माम्।
यत् कोकिलः किल मधौ मधुरं विरौति
तच्चारु-चूत-कलिकानिकरैक-हेतुः॥६॥
alpa-śrutaṁ śrutavatāṁ parihāsa-dhāma
tvad-bhaktir-eva mukharī-kurute balān-mām
yat kokilaḥ kila madhau madhuraṁ virauti
tac-cāru-cūta-kalikā-nikaraika-hetuḥ

My knowledge is small — a thing for the learned to laugh at. Yet Your bhakti forces me to speak. Just as the cuckoo bursts into sweet song in spring — and the one reason for it is the beautiful clusters of mango blossoms.
