स्त्रीणां शतानि शतशो जनयन्ति पुत्रान्
नान्या सुतं त्वदुपमं जननी प्रसूता।
सर्वा दिशो दधति भानि सहस्र-रश्मिं
प्राच्येव दिग्जनयति स्फुरदंशु-जालम्॥२२॥
strīṇāṁ śatāni śataśo janayanti putrān
nānyā sutaṁ tvad-upamaṁ jananī prasūtā
sarvā diśo dadhati bhāni sahasra-raśmiṁ
prācyeva dig-janayati sphurad-aṁśu-jālam

स्त्रियाँ सैकड़ों, हज़ारों पुत्रों को जन्म देती हैं — पर आपके समान पुत्र किसी और माता ने नहीं जना। सब दिशाएँ तारे धारण करती हैं — पर सहस्र-किरण सूर्य को केवल पूर्व दिशा ही जन्म देती है।
Hundreds of women bear hundreds of sons; but no other mother has given birth to a son like You. All directions hold the stars — but only the eastern direction gives birth to the thousand-rayed sun.
