dṛṣṭeṣu yeṣu hṛdayaṁ tvayi toṣam-eti
kiṁ vīkṣitena bhavatā bhuvi yena nānyaḥ
kaścin-mano harati nātha! bhavāntare-pi

अच्छा हुआ कि मैंने पहले हरि-हरादि देवों को देखा। उन्हें देखकर मेरा हृदय आप में और भी सन्तुष्ट हुआ। किन्तु यदि मैं पहले आपको ही देख लेता — तो किसी और का कोई आकर्षण नहीं रहता, इस जन्म में या किसी और जन्म में।


Indeed, it is well that I first saw Hari, Hara, and the other lords — for, having seen them, the heart finds satisfaction in You. What if I had seen You first? Then no other could ever have caught my mind — not in this birth, nor in any other.
