भक्तामर-प्रणत-मौलि-मणि-प्रभाणा-
मुद्योतकं दलित-पाप-तमो-वितानम्।
सम्यक् प्रणम्य जिन-पाद-युगं युगादा-
वालम्बनं भव-जले पततां जनानाम्॥
bhaktāmara-praṇata-mauli-maṇi-prabhāṇām
udyotakaṁ dalita-pāpa-tamo-vitānam
samyak praṇamya jina-pāda-yugaṁ yugādā-
v ālambanaṁ bhava-jale patatāṁ janānām

मैं भगवान आदिनाथ के चरणों में नमस्कार करता हूँ — जो देवों के मुकुट तक चमकते हैं, जो पाप के अंधकार को मिटा देते हैं, और जो इस दुनिया के दुःखों में डूबते लोगों के लिए एकमात्र सहारा हैं।
I bow to the feet of Bhagavan Adinath, the first Jina. His feet are so radiant that even the gods bow before him — their crowns shining brighter from his light. He is the only refuge for souls drowning in the ocean of worldly life.
