Sonagiri ("Golden Hill") is one of the major Digambara Siddhakshetras. The hill is dotted with 77 temples; another 26 stand in the surrounding village. Tradition holds that Nang Kumar and his brother Anang Kumar, along with 5.5 crore (55 million) Jain monks, attained moksha here in earlier times. The temple complex spans atop the hill, requiring a climb of around 300 steps.

Nearest railway: Sonagiri station (direct). Datia town is 15 km. From Gwalior: ~60 km.
