Muktagiri is a Siddhakshetra in the Satpura hills on the Madhya Pradesh–Maharashtra border. The 52 temples atop the mountain (and 2 at the base) commemorate the 3.5 crore munis said to have attained liberation here. The Mendha waterfall on the hill is part of the traditional darshana path.
