मांगी-तुंगी
Twin sacred peaks with rock-carved Tirthankara idols. Home to the 108-foot Rishabhanatha statue (2016) — world's tallest Jain idol.
Mangi-Tungi is a pair of twin peaks — Mangi (1,324 m) is the western, Tungi (1,331 m) the eastern — connected by a saddle ridge. The peaks contain ancient rock-cut Jain temples and idols, said to date to the 7th century. In 2016, a 108-foot statue of Bhagavan Rishabhanatha was inaugurated at the base, holding the Guinness record for the world's tallest Jain idol. The site is referred to as the "Sammed Shikharji of the South."
