Major Digambara Atishaya Kshetra. The ancient Mahavira idol is said to have been miraculously discovered from the earth.

Shri Mahavirji is one of the most prominent modern Digambara pilgrimage centers. The principal idol of Bhagavan Mahavira is said to have been discovered by a cowherd in the 18th century in this previously remote location. The annual Mahavirji mela on Akshay Tritiya draws hundreds of thousands.

Best time to visit

October to March; Akshay Tritiya (April–May) is the main festival.
