Kalyanak Kshetra
Hastinapur
हस्तिनापुर
Birthplace of three Tirthankaras — Shantinatha (16th), Kunthunatha (17th), and Aranatha (18th). Also linked to Bahubali, Bharata, and the Pancha Kalyanaka rituals.
Hastinapur is the rare Jain site where three Tirthankaras — Shantinatha, Kunthunatha, and Aranatha — were born and underwent their kalyanakas. Modern Hastinapur features the Jambudweep complex, a unique architectural representation of the Jain cosmology with detailed scale models of Mount Meru and the continents. Multiple temples mark the kalyanak sites.
