Where Tirthankara Neminatha attained moksha. One of the seven principal Jain pilgrimage destinations.

Girnar Hill is sacred as the site of Neminatha's renunciation, omniscience, and moksha — three of his five kalyanakas. The climb is around 9,999 steps to the main Jain temple complex on the first peak. The Neminath temple at the top is the most important shrine.
